Headliners:
Celtic Spring -- This remarkable family of Irish step-dancers and fiddlers was one of the finalists on America's Got Talent and has appeared on Good Morning America. Referred to as the "Von Trapp family of Celtic music," Celtic Spring is a fiddle and dance band composed of the six Wood family siblings on fiddles and in dance shoes, joined by their father on the traditional Irish drum, the bodhran, and their mother on the piano. Throughout the performance some of the fiddles will be exchanged for dance shoes, creating the dynamic interaction between the music and the dance. The show culminates with the band members effortlessly fiddling and dancing simultaneously!
Enter the Haggis -- ETH has been recording and touring for over 10 years and is known for its energetic live shows. ETH recorded a live concert as part of a PBS special released in 2004. In 2007, ETH performed for the St. Patrick's Day show on Live with Regis and Kelly. The band has also performed on A&E's Breakfast with the Arts.
Seven Nations -- (Saturday only) -- With a passionate, tender, and rollicking style that winningly veers from roots and folk to dance and fusion-rock, Seven Nations has earned a growing reputation as an adventurous band with a charismatic stage presence. Seven Nations has been touring full-time since 1994 with successful stops in Europe, Canada, Puerto Rico, and virtually every state in the US. It has recorded a number of albums with over a quarter million units in sales. The band’s latest album, Thanks for Waiting, has been praised for “the excitement of the bagpipe, fiddle guitar, bass and drums as they drive the songs’ messages home and beyond. (It’s) well worth a listen.”
The Town Pants -- Hailing from Vancouver with an unsurpassed, fast-paced West Coast Celtic style, The Town Pants are a rare blend of passion, energy, animation and spirit. Feverish and stampeding, The Town Pants' lively renditions of traditional and contemporary Celtic-influenced tunes, combined with original compositions, create a distinctive sound that has attracted fans from around the world.
